Unseen Beings and forces of nature are ritually addressed in a despacho ceremony. This sacred, and often playful, ceremony involves offering a beautiful banquet of various “foods” to express gratitude and sacred reciprocity to the sources of all our nourishment. We also feed these beings to enlist their power and support for various endeavors. There may be the intention to: assist a departed loved one to return Home with grace and ease; request personal or planetary healing; receive blessings for a new home, job, child or relationship, etc. Every despacho has a specific intention. A despacho created with the intention of simply expressing gratitude is an especially powerful ritual.

This thanksgiving banquet forms an energetic connection to the spirit realm, carrying our prayers and gratitude for blessings we have received.
